A Prosthodontist is a Canadian Dental Association recognized specialist in dentistry with advanced training in creating optimal oral health in both function and appearance. This is accomplished through the use of implants, dentures, crowns, veneers, bridges and whitening of the teeth. In Canada, Prosthodontists must complete a three year program at an accredited university or hospital after their regular dental school training and then complete a series of fellowship examinations to gain recognition as a certified specialist in dentistry.
